Five Socorro High School students in the Health Professions Academy (HPA) will sign letters of intent to pursue their nursing education with Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON). These students are part of the first group to participate in SISD’s partnership with TTUHSC GGHSON pipeline program. Congratulations, Bulldogs!

Dr. Sue A. Shook Elementary proudly celebrated its first dual-language, first-generation banquet to honor students for their achievements in the Dual Language Academy. The academy prepares #TeamSISD students to become bilingual and biliterate in both English and Spanish.
Montwood High School had several student-athletes sign their letters of intent today to play sports and further their education at FC Odisea International Football Academy in Spain, University of the Southwest, UT Dallas, Eastern New Mexico University, and UTEP. Congrats, Rams!

The Escontrias STEAM Academy celebrates the 100th anniversary of the school with a special celebration. The festival event includes a car show, food trucks, vendors, entertainment, and fun for the whole family. Festivities end at 2 p.m.
