School Health Advisory Council
The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) assists our district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the student health education program. The SISD SHAC addresses the continued implementation of the Coordinated School Health Programs (CSHP) that include health education, physical education, student health services, nutrition services, counseling, healthy school environment, staff health promotion and family/community involvement. Additionally, SISD SHAC plays an important role in strengthening the connection between health and learning.
