During the #WalkforSuccess2024 event, #TeamSISD employees visit neighborhoods in high school feeder areas to connect with students who haven't enrolled for the new school year. They meet with students and their families to discuss opportunities to return to school, earn a diploma, and pursue higher education and career goals.
This morning, #TeamSISD school and district administrators came together for the annual #WalkforSuccess2024 event, fully committed and ready to engage with students who have not yet returned for the 2024-25 school year. The event launched with uplifting remarks from district leaders, highlighting the significance of being #ALLIN to bring our students back home.
Several schools in #TeamSISD held events today to commemorate Patriot Day. At El Dorado High School, students and staff gathered for a beautiful remembrance ceremony, which included a wreath laying and concluded with the playing of Taps.
The Spartan community joined together to march in the Pebble Hills High School homecoming parade, with this year’s theme, “Celebrating America from Coast to Coast.” The homecoming game is set for 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, where the Spartans will face the Americas High School Trailblazers at SAC I.

#TeamSISD honors the victims of the 9/11 attacks, their loved ones, and the heroes who emerged as shining beacons of courage and compassion. Their sacrifices, selflessness, and bravery should continue to inspire us and guide our interactions with one another and our communities.
Participants explored #TeamSISD programs like the Aztec Architecture, Libertas, and Health Professions Academies, with students and teachers #ALLIN showcasing their work. Business representatives were also present to discuss job requirements, training and career details.

The Bulldog community showed tremendous support during today’s homecoming parade for Socorro High School. This year's theme is “Once Upon a Soco Hoco.” The homecoming game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on August 30 at SAC II, where Socorro will take on Horizon High School.
#TeamSISD students in grades 4th through 8th and their parents are invited to attend the Career Awareness Showcase from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 7 at Pebble Hills High School. Trustees recognized Eastlake High School’s trumpet ensemble for their performance at the 2024 International Trumpet Guild Convention in Anaheim. After a rigorous audition, they showcased their talents to renowned trumpet players and participated in clinics. Great job!
