The event features activities, learning sessions, and a keynote from Johnny Kage of 104.3 HITfm, covering topics like college, careers, self-defense, and social media safety.

Trustees recognized Sergeant Yvette Perez for her heroic actions in saving a child's life. While heading home, she saw a couple frantically waving for help with their choking toddler. She rushed over, used her training, and successfully dislodged the obstruction. Great job, Sergeant Perez!
