#TeamSISD is bringing families together at the 12th annual “Growing Together” Mother-Daughter Conference! The conference is designed to help mothers and daughters bond while experiencing learning and engaging activities together.





Eastlake High School had three student-athletes sign their letters of intent today to play soccer and softball at UTEP, Sul Ross State University and University of the Southwest. Congratulations, Falcons!





#TeamSISD art students showcased their artistic talents to colleges and universities from across the US at EPCC's 2024 Sun City Portfolio Day. Students met with representatives online and in person about their portfolios, discussed scholarship opportunities, and more!





Trustees recognized Americas High School boys basketball coach Michael D. Brooks for winning his 500th career game in December! Thanks coach Brooks for inspiring our students on and off the court!

Trustees honored Socorro High School senior Mercedes Lopez for placing in the 2023 Congressional App Challenge. Her Wonder Color App will be showcased at the #Houseofcode festival this spring! Congratulations!


#TeamSISD paid tribute to the Board of Trustees in honor of School Board Recognition Month. Students from William D. Slider and Hurshel Antwine middle schools presented trustees with special string art to thank them for all they do for our great district.

#TeamSISD students had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit with best-selling author Neal Shusterman on Wednesday. Shusterman visited El Dorado and Eastlake high schools to talk about his books and writing process and inspire students to believe in themselves.





Today, El Dorado HS celebrated being named an AVID National Demonstration School for a third time! El Dorado is the only Region 19 high school to have earned this distinction for being an exemplary model for college and career readiness. Congratulations on this milestone!
