#TeamSISD students in grades 4th through 8th participated in the Career Awareness Showcase today! They learned about the various programs available across the city and in #TeamSISD. Congresswoman Veronica Escobar also gave a presentation about her career in law and government.

Parents of SISD students are invited to attend a Bilingual Community Meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the District Service Center. Way to go, Pebble Hills Marching band! #TeamSISD Spartans are headed to the #UILState Marching Band Championship at the Alamodome on 10/30-10/31. Sparta qualified for state after finishing among the top four bands at the UIL Area A-6A marching contest on 10/21.

It's National School Lunch Week! In #TeamSISD, we understand the importance of a healthy school lunch to ensure student success both in and out of the classroom. Our incredible CNS staff has served over 1 million meals since the start of the new school year!

Today, @CREEEDorg organized a special ceremony to honor all teachers, faculty and staff from the five middle schools for their commitment to providing opportunities for students to master Algebra I before high school.
