The SISD College, Career and Job Expo is an excellent opportunity for high school students to network and interview for summer jobs, internships, or college connections. The district invites SISD sophomores, juniors, and seniors to the expo from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. March 18 in the gyms at Montwood High School.
The event gives students a chance to talk to college, technical school and military representatives and meet with local business and industry partners to explore future career opportunities. The El Paso Workforce will be accepting applications for summer training and for job placement.
Students should bring their resume, dress to impress and be prepared to interview with potential employers. Raffle prizes will be given away and special guests are scheduled to be at the event. Visit www.sisd.net/ccje to register for the SISD College, Career and Job Expo.
