With a nod to the Socorro Independent School District’s slogan of Seize Your Opportunity, over 100 students showcased their artistic talents in the 2023 Winter Holiday Art Contest.
Artwork from students across the district exhibited the joy of the holiday season.
Four winners were selected, and their winning artwork was used for the Superintendent’s Holiday Open House invitation, displayed on the district website and shared on social media. The winning pieces also were professionally framed and made into a holiday postcard.
The winners will be recognized at the December Board of Trustees regular meeting, where they will receive a certificate of appreciation.
