The Socorro Independent School District won national recognition for comprehensive communication, publications, and digital media production in the 2022 National School Public Relations Association Golden Achievement and Publications and Digital Media awards program.
The SISD Public Relations team earned a Golden Achievement award, the second highest award a school PR team can win at the national level, for its strategic, year-round comprehensive communication campaign, “Keep SISD Safe: Comprehensive communication during the pandemic.”
The NSPRA Golden Achievement Awards recognizes outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communications, marketing, and engagement.
The PR team also won five Awards of Excellence, one Award of Merit and one honorable mention in the 2022 NSPRA awards program for publications and digital media.
The NSPRA Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards recognizes outstanding work in educational communications, including print and digital publications, video, audio, websites, social media and more.
