Team SISD proudly supports cancer awareness and invites district stakeholders to participate in activities to benefit the American Cancer Society from Oct. 17 through 31.
Join in various ways to show your support and compassion to assist those who are battling and/or have survived cancer and for fundraising for research, supporting patients, and spreading the word about cancer prevention.
Here are several ways you can help and support:
- Donate one dollar or more at a football game Oct. 20 or 21 at the Student Activities Complex. You can add the donation, which will go to the American Cancer Society, with your online ticket purchase at sisd.net/tickets or on the HomeTown Fan App.
- Wear pink to show your cancer awareness support at the Thursday and Friday football games at the SAC.
- Donate one dollar for a display tag in honor or in memory of a loved one or on behalf of yourself in support of cancer awareness. The tags are being posted outside of the board room at the District Service Center and donations will benefit the American Cancer Society. Tags are available in the Public Relations office and will be available before the board meeting on Oct. 18. Cash donations will be accepted or click here for a QR code to donate online. Donations via credit card in-person can be made with Ayleen Gonzalez in Financial Services from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wear pink to the Socorro ISD regular board meeting on Oct. 18 at the District Service Center.
