Socorro ISD eighth-grade students and their parents are invited to learn more about the district’s premier advanced academies at the Virtual Advanced Academy Nights from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30. The virtual meeting will be conducted on Microsoft Teams.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about each academy, learn how to apply and may ask questions for more details about the academies. Students will be able to learn about:
- Health Professions Academy (HPA) – Socorro High School
- Synergi4 STEM Academy – Montwood High School
- Libertas Academy for Law, Government and Public Administration – Americas High School
- Aztec Architecture Academy (AAA) – El Dorado High School
- School for Advanced Technical Applications TSTEM (SATA) – Eastlake High School
- Sparta Business Academy (SBA) – Pebble Hills High School
- International Baccalaureate (IB) – El Dorado High School HS
- Mission Early College High School (MECHS)
- Fire Science Academy/EMT Cohort – Socorro High School
- Empire P-TECH- El Dorado High School High School
- Falcon P-TECH - Eastlake High School
- Sparta P-TECH- Pebble Hills High School
- Montwood P-TECH
- NJROTC
