For SISD Parents/Guardians with students enrolled in Special Education.

The Special Education Department will be hosting a Virtual Parent Meeting on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Spanish and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in English. Both meetings will be virtual.

The SPED Department Staff will train parents on Fine Motor Overview, Activities, and Strategies to Improve Fine Motor Skills from your school-based Occupational Therapist. Our staff will also present on Autism Awareness that Makes a Difference.

These tools may be multi-disciplinary. It is intended that scholars learn to use resources that are applicable across the curriculum. These are meant to enhance the learning experience of our youngest students to beyond the classroom and as life-long tools for post-secondary applications.
