Volunteer Sports Program

Socorro ISD VSP: Volunteer Sports Program logo

The Volunteer Sports Program (VSP) is an all-volunteer-based afterschool program composed of community members, parents, family members, teachers, and staff. VSP's goal is to teach students to have a healthy mind and body through physical activities, while also promoting learning fundamentals of different sports in a fun, loving, and safe environment. The program is offered to all Pre-K through 6th grade students attending Socorro ISD schools.

Open to all SISD students, Pre-K 3 year old through 6th grade.

Soccer / Cheer

Registration is open from 8-2-24 to 9-9-24. Registration will only be done in person at the student orientations.

Payment will be made through MySchoolBucks. Do not pay until a coach contacts you.

Practices are tentatively AUGUST through DECEMBER 2024.

Soccer Games:

  • September 9 - December 6, 2024

  • Any day between Monday through Friday

  • Tentatively will start between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m.

  • Soccer games are subject to change due to availability.
