Student Device Reminders
8th-grade devices will be picked up on Wednesday, May 15. 1st-grade devices will be picked up on Friday, May 17. Students are encouraged to bring their devices to the library before the designated pick-up day to allow for payment plan options. Payment plan options are available until Friday, April 19. Students may be charged fees/fines depending on the condition of the device when assessed. SISD's Volunteer Sports Program will host orientation meetings for track and field starting Jan. 17. Visit https://www.sisd.net/vsp for meeting times and locations. VSP allows Pre-K to 6th grade students in #TeamSISD to have fun, get exercise & experience friendly competition.
8th grade students and their parents are invited to learn about the SISD’s advanced academies and how to apply during two virtual sessions and one in-person session.
Two virtual sessions will be Tuesday, November 28 and Wednesday, November 29. An in-person presentation will be Thursday, November 30 at the District Technology Service Center, 12440 Rojas Building B. For the virtual and in-person meetings, a general session will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Individual academy talks and visits will be from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
