The Socorro Independent School District kicked off the 2023-24 school year with an incredible lineup at the SISD convocation on July 25. More than 5,000 employees rocked the El Paso County Coliseum along with appearances by the high school cheerleaders, drum lines, pep bands, and mascots, and an exceptional performance by the Socorro ISD Faculty Mariachi group.
Thanks to Superintendent Dr. Nate Carman, Board President Michael A. Najera, keynote Weston Kieschnick, and the event’s host Chief Academic Officer Lucia Borrego, for pumping up SISD employees for the new school year and unlocking opportunities for our students to achieve their highest potential.
