Mission Statement

The mission of the Sun Ridge Middle School Library Media Program is to create students who are effective, efficient and ethical users of information. Our Library Media Program builds upon the foundation of information literacy skills. By instructing students in Information Literacy, through all subject areas, the Library Media Program provides further opportunities for students to achieve and represent the District’s commitment to creating self-directed life-long learners.

Goals

1. Provide a learner-centered library program that enhances student achievement

2. Provide a current, up-to-date collection rich in print and non-print resources

3. Provide a welcoming, learning environment for all patrons

Hours of Operation

The library is open from 7:30 - 4:00, Monday through Friday.  Students are encouraged to use the library before and after school, and during lunch.
