All students must have completed online registration BEFORE attending Back to School Registration.

Parents and students may enter at the Rio Vista entrance that is located nearest the student parking lot.

New Student Registration: The entire process is online.

If the student does not live in the Socorro High School area, you must submit a transfer application.

Document Requirements:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Social security card (optional)

  • Immunization records

  • Parent/guardian ID

  • Valid proof of residence:

    • Current utility bill: Electric, water, gas. Parent/guardian name must appear

      on the bill.

  • 2024-2025 alternative proof of residency if it applies to your circumstances. This

    form is only valid for one year and it must be updated yearly!

  • Withdrawal form/Final report card from previous school

To better facilitate the process, please make sure the following is completed.

  • Your online registration must be complete!

  • All residency documents must be current and uploaded for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • Please bring a copy of an updated utility bill, and a copy of your parent’s ID.

    • Your parent/guardian driver’s license address MUST match the address on the

      updated/current utility bill

    • If you uploaded incorrect documents or non-matching documents, this will delay your

      registration.

  • Transfer Students: You must have a completed “in or out” of district transfer online.

  • You have a current/up-to-date copy of your shot record.

  • Your laptop fees are paid: We will accept cash payments on campus or you may pay online.

    • Paying online is easier and faster.

    • Create an account with MySchoolBucks.

  • You can also pay for you School ID and parking sticker through MySchoolBucks.

  • Complete you meal application before attending in-person registration. Meal applications must be completed every year, it is mandatory by the state.

Reminders

  • All students are required to have an ID with them at all times. ID replacement fee is $5.00.

  • IDs are needed for the cafeteria, bus rides, afterschool tutoring, and hallway verification.

  • Laptop usage fee is due every year. The fee is $25.00.

Q. Do I need to attend back to school face to face registration?

A. Yes, all students must attend face to face registration and complete all mandatory stations.

Q. If I already completed my online registration, do I still need to attend back to school face-to-face registration?

A. Yes, online registration is only the first step in the registration process. All students must complete all parts of the face-to-face registration process to finalize the registration process.

Q. Do my parents need to attend?

A. No, they may send you with all the required documents and you can pay all fees online. You can also complete the meal application online at home.

Q. Will my incoming 9th grader receive their laptop at registration?

A. No, they will receive their laptop on the week of August 7-9. All 9th grade students must pay their 25.00 laptop usage fee before receiving their laptop.
