Military Support Duties
Assist in the creation of a welcoming school culture.
Keep campus leadership aware of family and school issues.
Advocate for SISD to the military community.
Advocate and provide program information and support to military families with children of special needs.
Serve as the point of contact and work collaboratively between military-connected families and the campus.
Assist in coordinating campus-based programs relevant to military- connected students.
Attend professional development and training to learn and understand topics related to the transition of military-connected students and their families.
Establish a partnership with Ft. Bliss to engage active-duty members to assist on campus.
Offer military parents volunteer opportunities on campus.
