We at Loma Verde are so proud of our military students. We are aware of what an awesome job you as a part of our military have and we understand that your children serve too!

Loma Verde provides support in different areas specifically for our military students.
On our campus, we have both a Military Liaison Counselor and Military Liaison.

Military Liaison Counselors are located off military installations in some school districts in Texas. They support military students and families and work in partnership with military installations, community agencies, and area schools to provide outreach services to families who transition in and out of their communities.

School Liaisons are located on military installations and work with families of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and the Coast Guard. School Liaisons work to assist families with school transitions, navigating the school system, and accessing educational resources. School liaisons also work with leaders of military installations, schools and community partners to provide information and access to opportunities for military-connected students.

Clubs or organizations offered to students are UIL Academic Competitions, National Elementary Honor Society, Student Council, Cheerleading, 5th grade Basketball, Scouting, and afterschool paid enrichment programs by Alchemy Karate, Young Rembrandts Art, and Snapology Robotics.

Tutoring opportunities are offered after school at various times throughout the school year.

Afterschool daycare is provided by the YMCA. They begin at 2:30 p.m. for kindergarten and 3:15 p.m. for all other grade levels. Children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.
