GECU has selected Desert Wind School as a recipient of a generous donation of backpacks and school supplies benefiting our Desert Wind Community. Backpacks and school supplied will be distributed during Open House! Meet the teacher event which will take place on August 3, 2024, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Students must be registered at Desert Wind School to receive a backpack and supplies.

Summer Office Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Student Device Reminders 8th-grade devices will be picked up starting Thursday, May 23th through Friday, May 24th. Fees for laptops and chargers can be found through the MySchoolBucks page. Payment plan options are also available with the front office. Please contact the librarian with any questions or concerns.

SISD's Volunteer Sports Program will host orientation meetings for track and field starting Jan. 17. Visit https://www.sisd.net/vsp for meeting times and locations. VSP allows Pre-K to 6th grade students in #TeamSISD to have fun, get exercise & experience friendly competition.

8th grade students and their parents are invited to learn about the SISD’s advanced academies and how to apply during two virtual sessions and one in-person session. Two virtual sessions will be Tuesday, November 28 and Wednesday, November 29. An in-person presentation will be Thursday, November 30 at the District Technology Service Center, 12440 Rojas Building B.
