DRESS CODE
Students are expected to follow both our Campestre Elementary and SISD dress code policy (DNCA).
Bottoms – Khaki or black, pants, shorts, skorts (Knee Length) or capris or JEANS (holes in pants are not allowed).
Worn at natural waist, buttoned appropriately & fitted properly
Belt is optional.
Jeggings, sweats, and cargo pants ARE NOT allowed.
Jeans will be revoked if students are not complying with the appropriate jeans.
Shirts - Polos and T-shirts only.
Solid colored Polo shirts in Red, White, or Black (School logo is not required, no other logos are allowed).
“Cobra T-shirts” –purchased at the school in red, black or Colombia Blue. Any shirt worn underneath must be SOLID SCHOOL COLOR (Red, Black, or White/ Orange (PK4 Only)
Mondays:
Students can wear their #TeamSISD T-shirt with uniform bottoms. Jeans are allowed but (skinny jeans, torn jeans, baggy jeans, and jeans with big pockets (cargo) are NOT allowed).
Thursdays:
Students may wear college shirt with uniform bottoms. Jeans are allowed but (skinny jeans, torn jeans, baggy jeans, and jeans with big pockets (cargo) are NOT allowed).
Fridays:
Students may wear Campestre Spirit Shirt with uniform bottoms. Jeans are allowed but (skinny jeans, torn jeans, baggy jeans, and jeans with big pockets (cargo) are NOT allowed).
Shoes:
No steel-toe shoes, boots, Heelys, or Croc’s due to safety concerns
No backless, slip-ons, open-toed, flip flops, bedroom slippers, slides or clogs (safety reasons)
No high heeled shoes
Other Clothing
Length shorts/ skorts or skirts must be at arm’s length.
On Free Dress Days, Length Skirts/Dresses/Shorts cannot be shorter than arm’s length.
No suggestive, indecent, or revealing clothing, including gang- related style/symbols (including cartoon figures), alcohol, drugs or anything of a sexual nature.
No oversized/baggy clothing, jackets or hoodies.
No overly tight pants or jeans.
No torn or unhemmed pants, jeans, shorts, skorts, capris or shirts. No pants, shorts, or capris, shirts rolled up, rubber banded or folded under or over.
No sleeveless shirts, tank tops, or spaghetti straps.
Cargo/Carpenter shorts, jeans, and pants are not allowed.
Hoodies and pull overs are allowed but students must wear a school shirt underneath. Any logos or designs on the hoodie/pull overs must be respectful and appropriate in nature.
Accessories:
No caps, hats, beanies, scarves, bandanas or sunglasses worn in the building (must be put away unless designated dress up day)
Earrings on students should be no larger than 1”. Only 2 earrings per ear. No body piercings, facial piercings (brow, lip, etc.) or ear gauges.
All necklaces must be worn inside shirt. No large chain necklaces of any kind.
No initial belt buckles. No oversized belt buckles that are larger than a school ID or wallet chains.
Lanyards MUST be worn around neck or put away. As a safety concern, they cannot be hanging from pockets or book bags.
No excessive bracelets or jewelry. This can become a distraction.
**Administration reserves the right to extend the dress code to include attire not specifically listed above but deemed inappropriate.
