P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) is the newest Advanced Academy being afforded to our students beginning in the 2023-2024 Academic School Year. Students enrolled in the Bulldog P-TECH Academy will be college ready by embarking on a unique educational journey with a focus. Cohorts will take part in dual credit course work beginning their freshmen year, culminating with our students obtaining an associate of arts degree from El Paso Community College (EPCC) and industry certifications, making them career and workforce ready.

In partnership with El Paso Community College, the Socorro High School P-TECH Advanced Academy will be the first of its kind being offered to our Bulldog community. Applicants will be selected through a lottery-based system prior to the start of each academic school year. Students must have passed the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSI) test during their 8th grade year in order to be considered for entry into the P-TECH Advanced Academy. Dual Credit coursework will be facilitated through EPCC faculty and credentialed staff. The college calendar applies to P-TECH enrolled students.
