Montwood High School Robotics competes in two different robotics competitions: BEST Robotics in the Fall and FTC Robotics in the spring. On the robotics team students are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Over the last few years, the robotics teams have won numerous awards and the most of any high school team in the region. Specifically, the have traveled to state, national and world competitions in both FTC and FRC categories.
Students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
