Education with a focus on Teaching is the newest of our specialties at Montwood High School within the SYNERGI4 STEM and P-TECH Advanced Academy. It falls within the P-TECH Magnet Program and focuses early childhood development, pedagogical practice, and real-world experience in the classroom.

Students in this specialty follow a course sequence leading to an Associates of Arts in Teaching and take courses on campus including:

1) Child Development;

2) Instructional Practice;

3) Practicum in Teaching.
