Our Mission

The mission of the LCES counseling department is to lead, commit to, embrace, and support our students by providing an engaging and comprehensive school counseling program designed to meet all their academic, career, and social/emotional needs. Stakeholders will collaborate to ensure that all students actively participate in a school counseling program that advocates equity, access, and success for all by implementing whole-group, small-group, and individual counseling that is meaningful and inspiring. We encourage our future leaders to perform to the best of their abilities today and always.

Our Vision

All students at Lujan-Chavez Elementary School will attain the academic, career, and social/emotional skills needed for higher educational opportunities and career endeavors that come their way. These life-long learners will make well-informed decisions and be capable problem-solvers who have the capacity to set goals and achieve them, despite any challenges they may encounter. Through participation in a comprehensive school counseling program backed by a strong and supportive counseling team, our students will be confident, responsible, effective, and productive members of society. They will make the world a better place!
