Belief Statement:

The school counselors at Loma Verde Counseling Department believes that all students are special and important. They have the right to participate in counseling programs that offer opportunities for personal social, emotional, and academic growth. All students have the right to voice their concerns and be supported. Individual growth, respect of self and others, and academic success will be promoted by classroom presentations, individual and group counseling sessions, and regular communication with teachers and parents. 

Vision Statement:

The vision of the Loma Verde Elementary comprehensive school counseling program is that all students realize their true value and are potential and contributing, productive citizens. Through their participation, Loma Verde students are responsible, lifelong learners and leaders who are well prepared and self directed to confidently pursue college and career opportunities in the 21st century. 

Mission Statement:

The mission of our school counseling program at Loma Verde Elementary School is to provide a comprehensive and developmental program that will maximize the academic, personal social, and career development of all students. By collaborating with teachers, staff, parents and the community, a positive learning environment and student growth will be met.
