Whereas, Chester E. Jordan Elementary School recognizes military service performed by brave parents of our students; and  
Whereas, our school recognizes that our military dependent students often face unique challenges; and 
Whereas, military children are a source of pride and honor, we recognize their unsung sacrifices; and 
Whereas, our school welcomes our military dependent students and commend them for their resiliency, and 
Whereas, our entire school staff is committed to excellence in educating them and protecting them; and 
Whereas, we will honor them during the month of April and honor their families during November; and 
Whereas, we invite the parents to volunteer in our school as we recognize their important role they play; and 
Therefore, our administrative team, teachers and staff of Chester E. Jordan Elementary School, do hereby sign this proclamation.
