Vision
The vision of the Cactus Trails Elementary comprehensive school counseling program is to provide a foundation to instill the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve academic, social/emotional and career success, to maximize every scholar’s full potential as empathetic and responsible world class citizens who are bold, dream big and follow a strong moral compass guided by cultural awareness and an appreciation of diversity.

In conjunction with Socorro ISD’s vision of “Tomorrow’s leaders learning today”, we will work every day to inspire every scholar to be determined, brave, aspire to create, be kind, problem solve, think critically, and see themselves as global change-makers.

 Mission
The comprehensive and developmental school counseling program at Cactus Trails Elementary school utilizes data to address equity, access to success via rigorous instruction and safety for every scholar.  Through professional learning communities, we work cooperatively with all stakeholders to achieve academic, career, social/emotional and artistic development for every scholar, utilizing the highest ethical standards to advocate for all scholars, promote scholarly behaviors and incorporate 21st century technology, which will result in the development of highly skilled global citizens.
