The Socorro Independent School District will host a Welcome to Socorro ISD event for military-connected families from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 12, at the SISD District Service Center located at 12440 Rojas Dr.
Military-connected families can learn about programs, academies, sports, events and the endless opportunities that SISD provides for students. The event will include prizes, gifts, burritos, coffee, cookies and juice for the first 100 people.
