STAAR Assessments

The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) program includes annual assessments for

  • Reading Language Arts and Mathematics, grades 3–8

  • Science at grades 5 and 8

  • Social Studies at grade 8

At the high school, students in 9th, 10th and 11th grade will be required to take their corresponding end-of-course (EOC) assessments depending on the course work for that year: Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II, U.S. History.

TEA STAAR Resources

Parents may access their child’s State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) scores from spring 2023 on the Skyward website. 

Parents and students can log in to their Skyward account and click on the Texas Assessment tile as shown in the image below. This will provide them with their Portal Access Code. They can click on the hyperlink, and it will take them directly to their child’s STAAR data.
